Did Meta SCAM Content Creators With the Reels Program?
Users are puzzled as to why they still have not received payment for their content.
So, today I came across a creator that caught my eye who began her story from inside an IRS building. She had specific business to uphold there and that was to report Meta for FRAUD.

Her story begins like every other creator like myself out here. We get an invitation to monetize our content from a social media platform, such as Meta, and then we provide our personal details in order to receive payment as a creator. This would be our government issued identification and the completion of tax forms in order to complete the process.
At the time, Meta had a Reels Program for creators to get them to hop ship from TikTok.
As you can see, this was an invitation only program and creators were making good money on their content. It actually was a breath of fresh air to be able to get tips on posts for a change.
But March 10th, it was announced that Meta was cutting this program without giving creators a chance to voice their opinion.

So what @whitneywalker173 is saying here is startling. How are creators supposed to report earnings they never received? How do you prove that you never received payment from a 320 Billion dollar empire?
Just looking at some of the comments, I saw one that stood out. People were questioning why they would cut the program in the first place?
Hmmm, sounds like a possibility.
This creator mentioned that creators were not getting paid since back in May of 2022:
And here we are with another creator with receipts that Meta has been stealing their content creator money.
I think that the problem here is that Meta wanted to step into power to be the HBIC (Head Brand in Charge) but can’t seen to get something so simple done such as making sure the people who keep the platform alive get paid.
What kills me the most is that not only did content creators get duped, so did Virtual Reality Content Creators. The majority of us ran out here to get an Oculus Quest so that we can create our content.
But now, sadly and EXPECTED
So now, users who utilize this software to access virtual worlds and spaces, should we be concerned? Again, we still don’t have BASIC features that other social virtual reality applications have.
Ai. That’s the bottom line. To COMPETE where they do not COMPARE. Losing focus on the core values of what “Facebook’s” initial vision and mission.
How is this giving people power to build a community when the only thing you see about the community is a guidelines violation. How is Meta bringing the world “closer together”? By destroying other platforms so that people have no choice but to use Facebook (Meta)?
So twisting the arm of users to make us stay put as you develop your own Ai models to mine more data of users to sell to the highest bidder? To stalk and have American people under surveillance disguised as being SOCIAL?
Why have users generated as much as $40,000 for your platform and haven’t been paid?
Like this is, unreal.
I wouldn’t give them any more content or banking information as they roll out their verification badge program.
Pay up!!!!
